Review of the Show:

Vincent Mason kicked off his There I Go Tour on January 22, 2026, with an emotionally charged opening-night performance at The Truman in Kansas City. The intimate setting paired perfectly with Mason’s honest songwriting and ability to connect with a crowd on a personal level.

Opening the night was Cole Goodwin, who delivered a confident and engaging set that set the tone and built anticipation for the headlining performance. His presence warmed up the room and created a seamless transition into Mason’s set.

From the moment Mason stepped on stage, the connection with the audience was undeniable. He balanced high-energy moments with stripped-back, vulnerable performances, allowing the songs to breathe and the stories behind them to fully land. The crowd remained locked in throughout the night, singing along and responding to every shift in energy.

One of the strongest aspects of the show was Mason’s ability to make a full venue feel intimate. Slower moments created space for reflection, while upbeat tracks kept the momentum moving without ever feeling rushed. The pacing of the set made the performance feel intentional and well thought out, especially for an opening night.

Closing with the tour’s namesake song felt fitting, leaving the audience energized yet reflective as the night came to an end. As the first stop of the There I Go Tour, Mason’s Kansas City performance felt like a statement — confident, authentic, and deeply connected.

With support from Cole Goodwin and a receptive crowd at The Truman, Vincent Mason proved he’s stepping into this next chapter with purpose and the tour is off to a strong start.
